Houston shows and how's this for a bit of luck...

Hey guys, this is my first post, so bear with me.

My wife and I had been debating about going to see Prince in Houston - not that we didn't want to see him, but money was just a bit too tight. After tickets went on sale for the second show (August 7th), I logged on to see what kind of seats we could get. Most of the seats were pretty good - all lower sections - but we were still unsure about going (mind you, we are still talking finances)...

Fast forward three days: I logged onto the Toyota Center to see what kind of tickets popped up and, believe it or not, two 5th row seats in Section A were available. I phoned my wife immediately and she said for me to snatch those puppies up! This will be the day after my birthday, so this is an INCREDIBLE birthday present. This will be my first time to see him since I was a senior in high school ("Purple Rain" tour) and my wife's first (my wife is literally in Heaven - first, she was able to see Duran Duran last November, and now Prince).

Just a couple of questions for those who have been to some of the current dates:

1) How much do shirts cost and what styles are available?

2) How good are these seats considering the stage layout (I've never been to an "in the round" show)?

Thanks for your help...

Hi
the shirts range from $35-45. There are numerous styles i think they are on the npgmc site in the retail section.

I don't know about the seating at the toyota center but he is not still he will make it over to your side of the stage eventually. Also if you are not on the floor and can see the screens you will see his face.

see ya there!

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.
