http://rds.yahoo.com/sear...960594.htm Blue Bell osteopath held in drug case By Keith Herbert Inquirer Staff Writer A Blue Bell doctor with an affinity for the music of Prince has been arrested and charged with selling OxyContin and illegal prescriptions for painkillers. Frank Alfred Delia, 51, requested and received four Prince concert tickets, valued at $400, in exchange for a Percocet prescription, police said. He also is charged with selling 340 OxyContin pills within the last two months. Delia was arraigned Thursday and taken to Montgomery County Prison with bail set at $1 million. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday but has been postponed. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Delia was arrested Wednesday night after he sold 280 OxyContin pills to an undercover detective in exchange for $10,000 and 100 ecstasy pills. The sale is alleged to have taken place in a parking lot at Easton and Fitzwatertown Roads in Upper Moreland. Police reported two other transactions before Delia's arrest. On May 1, he received the Prince concert tickets in a parking lot on Old York Road in Willow Grove. In exchange, Delia gave an informant a Percocet prescription, police said. On June 10, he delivered 60 OxyContin pills in exchange for $2,100. That also happened in Willow Grove, police said. Delia is licensed to practice by the Pennsylvania Board of Osteopathic Medicine. The board put him on probation for a year in 2000 because of a mail-fraud conviction, police said. In 1995, Delia was convicted of fraudulent billing of medical insurance carriers. He served a sentence of 10 months in prison, police said. Police said they were led to Delia through an informant who told them that the doctor sold Percocet, OxyContin, Valium and Percocet "Lollypops" - another name for the high-potency narcotic Actiq - from his office in his two-story colonial home | |

That might have saved him some trouble for that transaction, but the dude has some serious issues. I'm surprised the guy still has his license after his other convictions! Makes you wonder about the other doctors that are out there. NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=
