Printable leadline said: Poeple, Prince never said he was not touring anymore after this. What he has said, is that he will not be playing the older music anymore, because he needs to make room for the new stuff. There seems to be major confusion about this point. Prince will on tour again somewhere next year in 2005, just like every year prior, you can count on it.

I'm in recovery mode but it was worth it. This might b his best band ever! I love the fact that Mike Phillips was using the Vocoder sound that my homeboyz ZAPP/MICOWAVE made popular back in the day. 2funky! Ohio was in tha house! U,ME,WE!....2FUNKY! | |

Don't worry y'all ~ His Royal Badness ain't gonna stop da' funk. This tour was billed as the "2004-Ever" tour and I understand that his thoughts are that he just MAY tour on a continuous basis from this point on - quite the opposite of the rumors being spread that this is his last tour. Simple intuition tells me that this was a rumor set in motion by greedy concert promoters and scalpers in a shameless attempt to increase demand and inflate ticket prices for the Musicology tour. Frankly, Prince himself may be the source - just one more clever ploy (as was the inclusion of the "free" Musicology cd giveaway) to increase sales of both the new LP and tour. Let's face it, the man is sly as a fox and he's not about to squander the prestige bestowed upon him by his induction into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame. Is the timing of the events of the past few months lost on everybody but me? It's perfectly obvious from the current Prince media blitz that he has carefully orchestrated a campaign to return to his throne at the top of the charts where he belongs, and rightfully so. Rest assured, music is this man's life blood and he thrives on the love and adoration of his fans. Prince ain't goin' nowhere, he's got far too many lessons to teach...school's in.
