Best-dressed fan at Xcel Energy Concert in St. Paul

I brought my 4 year-old daughter to the Xcel Energy Center show on June 16th and the St. Paul Pioneer Press voted her Best-Dressed Fan!!! She had so much fun at the concert! She couldn't stop shaking her booty all night. booty!

Here she is with me:

Best-dressed fan voted by the St. Paul Pioneer Press at Xcel Energy Concert...

Best-dressed fan: Amanda Sadowski, 4, of Brooklyn Park, whom anyone could spot a mile away in her oversize pink-and-purple two-tone furry hat. The pink sandals were also a nice touch.

Yes she was in Section 208, row 4 with her mother. I had tickets from the music club but it was too loud down there for her. I wanted her to be down there with me though cause I'm sure Prince would've brought her up on stage to dance. Maybe next time!

Yes I did use to skate at skateland eek and went to both hosterman and cooper. I graduated in 1992. Is that you in your picture? I can't really tell who you are from the pic.

Yeah that's me in the pic. I'm a few years younger than you. I just remember you cuz me and my friends used to watch you guys skate. You had little "skate gangs" if I'm not mistaken. I remember "The Poopdicks", "Hot Things", "Team Supreme(?)"

We all wanted to be in the gang "when we got older." Those were the days...

Way to go, man! Ther is so much love going around on this tour, what with all the family experiences, that I'm beginning to think this must have been what it would have been like to be a Deadhead, but without the drugs!

Yeah man those were the days! I started the 'Hot Things' and ended up skating with Team Supreme. Then there was a group called S.B.S. (Skateland's Best Skaters)! What a small world! biggrin

Did you also go to Hosterman and Cooper?

Now all we need is Prince to allow fans to tape and exchange live shows like the Dead did!!! lol

Then you would know what it was like to be a Deadhead. wink

I've been trying to figure out how to post it on the NPG Music Club. Any ideas on what I need to do to post a pic on the Music Club would be greatly appreciated. I'm not very computer savvy. confused

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

It's different on the NPGMC. It says I have to post on a web server and then create a link to it. All I had to do on here was put it in the photo gallery. NPGMC should start taking notes on the way the org does things. wink Much more user friendly at the org. biggrin

Still say Prince would've LOVED that hat! big grin

I know this probably sounds really obvious now Jason, but next time, grab some ear plugs before the gig - they're real cheap, and u will be SO surprised the sheer amount of crap they'll cut out - enabling u guys 2 hear the concert with more definition. A lot of reverb and acoustic problems hit your ears along with the music without 'em.

...and 4 kids at concerts...they're a MUST.

She had ear plugs and even with those she thought it was too loud. I agree about being able to hear the concert with more definition. I had front row on Thursday and the security guy gave me a pair of ear plugs when The Time was on and I couldn't believe the difference it made. I took them out when Prince came on stage though and it sounded great!
