Are seats good with presale tickets?

I just have a General question and I see from what I have read that presale tickets are good seats. How good are the seats with presale Tickets? Me and a buddy are going to the Milwaukee Show on June 24th. and never got presales before. We always got some what of nosebleed seats when we saw Prince in he past. I hope they are close to the stage that would be so cool.

I'm guessing that the Milwaukee show will not be in the round (am I worng?) as it part of Summerfest I believe and will be outside. I think that the member seats will be different for this then any other show becasue there are not so many front row tickets etc. but they certainly won't be nosebleed.

You are right. It is a normal venue. The stage in from with all seats facing the same direction. I saw prince at the same venue in 2001. The cool thing then was all the presale tickets holders got to go on stage and then had their own litte area middle of the stage. I probaly won't be so lucky this show because of the volume of fans on NPGMC now. If I am close to the stage I will be happy. I have been a fan since the day 1999 hit the store and I have not been lucky enough to get good seats. Well this time around it sould slike I lucked out. Guess good things come to those who wait.

Does anyone else have any input on my question? How are the seats picked for the pre-sale tickets. it is based on what position when the tickets were bought or when you pick the tickets up at will call window. Like the first in line gets the best seat?

there doesn't seem to be a specific order to how they are issued, but they are determined long before you get in line at will call.

I got 5th row seats for both nights in Vegas, one night at the "front" of the stage, the next at the"back".
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

My experience is somewhat similar. I've been to 2 shows in Dallas.....the first, I wasn't overjoyed nor angry with my view (from 5th row--40ft) as I was at an angle behind one of the keyboard setups (big boy Chance wasn't helpin either) and had a slightly obstructed view. This last show, I also had 5th row, but I was directly center to the edge of the stage (10-15ft). It was a perfect view, so close, it left my mom commenting "I can see his chest hairs he's so close". Overall, between both shows, I got good views of everyone except for Rhonda.....the main one I wanted to see up close.....figures! (It's a conspiracy I say!)

Still have no clue on how the seats are assigned, but the tickets will be the closest to the stage. In Dallas, the will call windows (sorted by name) were empty both times, with tickets already in envelopes under each member's names. I walked right up and had tix in 45 seconds. Took me 5-10 minutes to get into the stadium.

Overall.....clearly worth the $25 investment.....2 shows, farthest away 40 ft.

Thank you for all the input. I have 5 days until the Milwaukee show. This is the first time I have lucked out and got good tickets and I just wanted to see how good the seats are. From what has been posted. I feel I will walk away a happy man. The best I eber sat was at the Lovesexy 88' Tour I Chicago and I was still prety far from the stage. Thanks again for the input. I'll have to post again after the show 6/24.
