MPLS SHOW!!!!!! SOOO GOOD! Man, it was MUCh better than the Cleveland concert.
Man, he took out Somtimes It Snows (finally) and put in Alphabet St and Adore!!! O MY GOD! I couldnt believe there was so much folks just sittin there while the first set was happening...standing and not moving unlike the Cleveland crowd, but things got jumpin after a while. Then he did this thing 2 the guitar as if he was killing it and it was screaming! man it was so loud and crazy and personal! SO GOOD! Then he knocked it 2 the floor (i lamost thought he was gonna burn it like Jimi ...) then he let it have one final scream then..they put the sheet over it!!!! Y am i not at the aftershow at Paisley? Damn my boy didnt wanna drive out there, but hopefully I'm going tomorrow! Never been 2 Paisley b4 still Any1 else there n stuff? Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I was there! Man so many highlights! The acoustic set was great! Whole Lotta Love rocked! We were in the front row! Right behind Blackwell! At first we were not sure if we liked these seats but man, he seemed to favor the runway right to our right! He was out there dancing, singing, playing guitar, bass, Rhonda was there and Candy and Chance and.... man that was some good fun! I'm not at Paisley tonight either but 2morrow I'm gonna be there so I'm hoping the roof is torn off then! It ain't Over! [This message was edited Wed Jun 16 23:24:44 2004 by sonicfreak]

O MY GOD! all right, so i imagine you're talking bout the acoustic set...so, he played alpha. and adore on the guitar? was it just quick-like, or did he do the whole song(s)? and yeah, the kid better play a betta' concert in $apolis than he did in cleveland...

He sung the first and second verse with choruses on the song...good enough!!! Better than the piano sing-along on the One Nite Alone set. At first we were not sure if we liked these seats but man, he seemed to favor the runway right to our right! Those seats at the floor did look like they were not good..especially with me being short it wouldve been bad anyway. Luckily i was on the lowere lever like 10 rows from the floor! Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Ex-Moderator | I had 3rd row and friends of mine had seats in the 5th and 6th row. As far as I could tell, there wasn't a bad seat on the floor. Maybe if you were front row right at the stage...
His antics (in addtion to the actual guitar playing) during Whole Lotta Love were damn amazing and amusing to watch. Layin the guiter down to rest. Doin the snake crawl on the ground up to it and wailing on it some more. Finally covering it with a sheet. And then coming back for one more wail. He was in top form. A true showman. Classic and funny even. He just looked like he was having a ball up there. The Cream "sing-a-long" was one of my highlights of the evening, and I have ALWAYS hated that song. oh, what a night! |
