a possible snag with will call tickets... my friends have an odd situation...my friend bought tickets to the show on 30 june and 25 june in chicago. he bought two through the club for he and his fiance. he is now checking himself into a rehab center to get help in kicking a habit. he leaves on saturday and will not be around to attend the show. this also means his fiance can't pick up the tickets for herself since they will be in his name. i thought i read somewhere that someone had a problem with switching names on will call orders but they needed id and some other stuff. does anyone know a way to switch the names so this woman can attend the show...to be honest, he bought the tickets solely for her benefit. she loves her some prince. i think we can relate to that. if anyone can throw some helpful advice my way so i can pass it on to her it would be great! i am trying to sort this out for her and him so they have one less remedial thing to worry about during his recovery. thanks for any help or info.

Has she tried contacting NPGMC? Also, they might want to try to change the member name on Prince's site because if the Allstate doesn't have the list yet, the new name would should up on that list.

Ealier they said that you needed a photocopy of his license and a signature although I think my girlfriend picked up out tickets without showing any ID at all.

they've been going through so much that i contacted npgmc for them. no answer yet. i hope she gets to go. it would be a shame if she missed it because he's a fuck up. that's good advice about changing the name on the account. i'll mention to her today. thanks tofka!! . Sassy.....I think the names would still be under the person who bought them (wouldn't hurt to try though). I agree, have the gentleman write a brief letter (with color copy of his DL) explaining that "unforseen circumstances" prevent him from picking them up. I've heard of others having luck this way. Also take a printout of the "ur account" section showing the purchase.
Good luck to all parties involved, God bless..... [This message was edited Thu Jun 17 12:29:19 2004 by codshort] ______________________________________
