I Feel For You on the Musicology 2004ever tour

Anyone else feel like the rendition of I Feel For You on the Musicology tour is a total trainwreck? And yet they insist on doing it every night.

It's too bad because I like the song.

Flame me if I'm wrong eek

i really like the live version. i think if he's still workin the horns on the next tour like he is now, however, i can eventually get tired of it really quick.

I guess it's more the vocals that are screwing it up for me. The music is killer (as always). It's like all three are singing off beat harmonies and no one is on the lead.

i TOTALLY AGREE with you A Starr.
its a disaster,

I loved the concert, but he needs to lose I Feel For You and Nothing Compares to U.
and give us at least a chorus of When Doves Cry for Gods Sake.

I totally agree with you on that scrambledeggs. It is When Doves Cry and no chorus???

My favorite of it all is "I wouldn't lie to you baby, it's mainly a spiritual thang"

I don't mind the I Feel 4 U, it's the Let's Work that really bugs me. That song just doesn't work with the new band. Reminds me of when your child learns a musical instrument - they'll play a chord sequence, and you'll go "hey, that sounds just like the song! good for you...". that's what the new band is like, particularly in Let's Work - it's just not the same. still, they work well on most of the other classics.

Agreed 100%

There is one thing good that comes from it..... restroom break!

I'm glad someone else noticed the vocals on it.
