First Columbus Report Well, I am still figuring out quite how I want to arrange the reviews... in the Concerts forum (here), or in the News. Either way, the first report from Columbus was sent in and is in the news section, this time...
Here it is. What do you guys think? Old-style, in the news? Or new-style, in the Concerts forum? Some people are going to post in the concerts forum regardless, so it seems like that's the logical area... but then again everyone likes to see their items on the homepage, so that would argue for the News... ??? As long as you have that separate page for concert reviews - as you do from the mainpage now - the forums is fine for reviews. But, there must be a link from the main page or else it's just a pain in the butt to find. No need to have a link to the review from the News list AND the mainpage concert section. Just my opinion!  | |

I kinda like the way you handled the Chicago situation: created one space in the News for Chicago reports but linked all the reviews that had been posted in the concert forum.
People are going to post in the Concerts forum regardless, so how about this: the first review to come in goes in the news as "First ____ Report". If people want their reviews added to the news, they can send you a link which will then be placed somewhere within that first news item as "additional reviews". Ben, I have an idea: 1) Start a new discussion: eg: Indianapolis Reviews 2) Create the first post in that discussion: Press Reviews: 3) Make a link from the Indianapolis Event to the discussion. 4) Any time a new review comes in to the news, you can edit the first post, and put a link to the article there. 5) Post a link from "News" to the "Event", so that people see the exact show, set-list, etc...and the link to the reviews.
