A question for those who attended June 5th

Was it me or did you noticed a little of the "freakish" side of him a bit more than late? I noticed the stage crawling and the raising of that little ass of his on one leg and such. Also, during the 'Whole Lotta Love' segment when he "killed" his guitar, it looked like he was caressing the guitar suggestively. I'm so used to hearing about not cussing, no sex, etc that I found this activity a little surprising.

All this was new to me since I saw him a few weeks back. Just curious if I was the only one who noticed.
pray God bless everyone. NO exceptions. pray

i totally agree. I was saying the same thing to my friend during the concert. I think that he was just in the zone. what ever the explanation, i think that this show was just over the top and (dare i say it?), better than the march 29th one.
Ina
I don't have time to listen to new music, I've got too much old Prince to discover. Classic example : I was at club Nokia at the midnight show and didn't know "In a large room with no lights" . . . my bad Prince

lol Glad to see it was not only me. I also agree that this show was better than March 29th. After 157 views of this post I guess you and I are the only ones who saw it.

Soo much better than 3/29, although 3/29 was great and exciting.

He was freaky. Oooo I thought it was just me and my nasty mind but he was wasn't he!!!???? I think he wanted to give L.A. a little extra after all we gave him.

Whole Lotta Love, rocked!!! At the concert even more so than the aftershow but it rocked there too.

I went to the HOB aftershow and he gave 110% there. I don't know how he does it, I was exhausted. He played from 2:30AM - 4AM (his band was on before him from about 1:50AM).

Prince rocked L.A.! And I'm still recovering. My ears are still ringing this morning but it was all worth it.

He seemed like the same old super showman he's always been.
Just older (no splits and minimizing the heels ), and wiser (no cursing or ejaculating guitar) maybe.
I think mature was the word I was looking for. wink

I was at the concert on Saturday and I thought he was going to hump the floor again. And yes, he did seem to get a little freaky. The whole concert was hot from start to finish. I'm so glad that I got to be a part of it. biggrin biggrin biggrin
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Yeah isn't that crazy. Since the concert, I have been scouring the internet for a review or something, and their just not there.
I am hoping maybe they release saturdays show on dvd. is that asking too much?
Ina woot!
by the way whole lotta love rocked, especially when he started playing the guitar kneeling in his rockstar pose but did anyone one else scream when he started to sing adore omigod!!!!
