Yes, ok it's a signature song, obviously, but REALLY! Let the man give it a rest. We've ALL heard it a million times. If he let's it go for a while it will be that much fresher and interesting when he brings it back! More obscure stuff! Other Side if the Pillow! Awesome! Strange Relationship! Yea!!! This is the Prince show for US!!! I agree he needs to give Purple Rain a rest. I guess Bruce still plays "Born to Run" but he took about 10 years off from playing it! Sting still plays "Every breath You Take" and its pathetic! Madonna won't play her hits either and that's what the fans want. We've seen Prince play the hits many times and I just like to see him be inspired and jam! I would like to hear some album cuts from the older stuff, but he needs to feel the music so it's up to him. ______________________________________________

i totally feel u, on the people who think they need 2 trample somebody just 2 get up onstage, ESPECIALLY when they aren't called on... that happened 2 me during the norhtrop show at the first celebration...prince pointed at me 2 come up in the very last encore, but some hillbilly wearing a hawaiian shirt, shorts n flip flops pushed me outta the way, lol....which was fine w/ me at the time, cause i was in shock he even saw me-i was actually HOPING he was pointing at someone else, lol....and he knew it...but he was persistant and made me go up...i could tell he wasn't gonna let me out of it, giggle...i guess it pays 2 b polite... fantastic report, i can't wait 2 bare witness 2 the everlasting, NOW!! | |
