Sheila E. and Prince Jammed! http://www.sheilae.com/wh...index.html
06/04/04 - Sheila E. Surprises Sold-Out Staples Center Audience by Opening for Prince Unannounced to the public, Sheila E. and her 11- piece band opened for Prince on his Musicology tour at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 3, 2004. The surprise appearance consisted of a 35-minute set featuring Sheila's greatest hits as well as rare performances of "Oliver's House", "Oakland Stroke" and "Holly Rock". Later that night, Sheila jammed with Prince during his aftershow at the House of Blues in Hollywood to a packed house. While playing many of her trademark timbale solos, she also played some guitar and sang a duet with Prince on "Love Bizarre". Sheila's manager, and former Brides of Funkenstein singer, Lynn Mabry, was also invited on stage by Prince to sing background vocals.

Prince sang love bizarre? cool. I wonder if he changed any lyrics. On it's face it's not that rude ... but the innuendo is intense.

It's no ruder than "On the Couch" or "Call My Name", really.

It's no ruder than "On the Couch" or "Call My Name", really. Think so? ... body built for two and swallowing pride in joy of the Eiffel Tower. That seems a bit more racy to me.

How cool is it that Shelia's manager is one of the Brides of Funkenstien and hoped up there to sing back up. Sounds like an amazing night!
