Prince & The NPG will be at the House Of Blues on Sunset at midnite on June 3 and June 5 after the Staples Center concerts. A limited number of tickets will be available 2 the members of the NPGMC starting 2day (June 1) at 5pm PT. Access the tickets thru the Backstage Pass room after u log on. Ticket limit is one (no guests).

Tickets go onsale 2 the general public 2morrow morning. Check the House of Blues 4 details.

L.A. is the place 2 B.....ya!!! First Prince filming musicology here in November 2003; then the Grammys here in L.A.;then the Press conference being held here in L.A. and NPGMC members are invited; then Prince kicking off his tour at the Staples Center here in L.A.; then more concerts at the Arrowhead Pond (just south of L.A. and 10 minutes from my house); and then the filming of his latest music video, 'Call My Name' (even though it was canceled for the NPGMC members he still came in and talked 2 us and we met some of the band members; and now he is coming back in2 town for more shows and there will B some aftershows. Dang!! L.A. is the place 2 B.

oh ya -

we cannot 4get about the Lakers winning the Western Conference on their way 2 the NBA Championship!!!

He's been stopping at every farmhouse, outhouse, doghouse, chicken coop... etc. No way he's going to aftershows all those places.

The question is, are tickets going to be exactly $100, or more than $100?

The reason why there is a one person limit is to avoid a people packlike when he played his post RHOF aftershow...

I would say the intention is to pack the house with NPGMC members. The HOB is not big. If a lot of non members are there - like they were during the ONA aftershow a couple years ago - there will be NPGMC people outside complaining that they were ripped off and didnt get their membership benefits. If youre a member, you can appreciate the fact that all tickets will be sold to people who support the club and want to see a Prince aftershow. It is not different from the additon of "side seats" at several venues on this tour - an effort to include more members to a single event. In this case it works because it doesnt entail giving members funkier seat just because they want to sell moe member tickets and CDs.

If Prince wants to do aftershows with just members, I'm all for it.

Yeah, I thought it would be in the $40 range, but the aftershows usually are 2-3 hours long and maybe there are gonna be some SPECIAL guests

LA and NY the 2 major media cities. Smart move bcuz the tour is a tight schedule and he can't do aftershows as often as past tours so these are the places 2 do them.

Aftershow $75.00 and Concert tix $75.00= $150.00 less than Madonna's first few rows $300.00 concert Tix without/aftershow! Just a comparison, Prince = still more bang 4ya buck!

I'll be there. I'm an Aussie on holiday and just arrived in LA. I just got back from the Vegas show on 30/5! Is the House Of Blues easy to get to from the Staples Center? Walkable? or should I get a cab? Tag along with another member? Please help!

Damn some of you guys sure do whine a lot. LA is indeed the place to be. Even though I can't afford to go to the aftershow it's great to have the option! Now if we could just do something about all this traffic...

Saturday however, it is gonna be hell getting to Sunset. At least an hour or more.
