I Can't wait to See Hot Stuff on the 28th..I Got a Bad case Of the Miss You's. I just got Bass player Magazine and I'm Delirious. I need the New Tourbook and I Need the NPGMC to sell the Black Symbol Jogging Suit in Small. I Hope he does Some Aftershow in Vegas Cause Vegas is so Cool and open Late. I Know they need their rest..I just wish he would Jam and sing and get all wild. Ya know Just for Once I wish PRINCE would like Rip Up the Playlist and ask the crowd what to play and like go all Stupid and outta Control like a Teenager. I Love him so Much I just wanna see him lose it. I Really wanna see him Get Out of Himself.

Just short of a sell out, prehaps 1,000 short. great show, although the crowd was a bit subdued. Played whole lotta love from Zepplin, very cool. Did the "I don't have any booty" thing, great laughs. Very playful and interactive with the crowd. The drums were jammin for the intro to Shhh, for the most part the audience was singing along pretty well, although some points it kind of dipped off. Also many people arrived late...typical Southern California thing??? Cream and "7" during the acoustic set were worth the price of admission, and of course having Candy only a few feet away most of the night . Also, is it me or dont people get dressed up for concerts anymore??? I wore nice jeans and a button down shirt and almost felt overdressed. the guy in the pimped out Dennis Rodman suit was off the hook...and for his troubles got him on stage. Lastly, ladies...if you get on stage, there is a middle ground between trying too hard and not moving at all...please search for the middle ground . DS

DS you know what i was thinking the same thing about the dressing up i couldnt belive how casual or lounging around people looked i dont know if its b/c it was an early concert, or b/c if was after work but everybody hardley dressed..... agree about the dancing part and i think i know which ones you are refereing too....i wanted up there so bad oh well next time.

It was the Electric-Rock-my-ass version. He also did the first line of Elvis' "Jailhouse Rock" (acoustic version) then he made funny by saying "The rodies will kill me messin' wit the Kings music".

Yay! I saw him do both an acoustic and an electric version of this at Celebration 2002 but the electric version definitly KICKED SOME ASS!!!!!

I saw a girl wearing flip flops in a beach outfit. I know we are California but PLEASE! Also, we must have been sitting really close to eache other because I know about the not moving at all. I was VERY disappointed to see that a certain type of "crowd" was rounded up for U GOT THE LOOK. Those girls came out of nowhere. Maybe I am a little bitter but I saw a girl trying to get through onto the stage and they didn't let her only because she wasn't plastic. I wonder if that was Prince orders or Pond Staff. Either way it was really disappointing. I like the unpredictability of having all types of people onstage.

I got to talk to Prince!!!!!\(after the Pond show on monday 24)
after the show, my husband and I went over and waited on the side of the building where the buses were. There were about 40 of us there, after a while, they set up these small baricades. first Rhonda Smith came out, then some of the guys, didn't see Renato, he must have snuck out, saw Candy, but she didn't come over to us and then the Pond security told us that when prince comes out, do not take any pics (duh), etc..., finally we saw him come out and go right into the bus (in a black suit) then I think it was someone who worked for him, that came out and told us that Prince was gonna come out and hand out some pamphlets (you know what those were...) and then he came off the bus and came towards us w/all his bodyguards of course, handed out paphlets(watchtowers) and people just said stuff like "I love you", etc....as he came to my side, I kind of froze because he stopped right in front of me and all I could say was (Hi, I'm from Minnesota too.) he smiled at me and said "cool" and then as he was passsing out the pamphlets, I touched his hand.....I will never be the same P.s. there was this rediculous "pimp" wannabe that looked like a pink stuffed animal, he was a highlight of the show, cause he got on stage.
