If you're staying at the Marriot you're in the heart of downtown Chicago. The back of the hotel is actually on Michigan Avenue and the front is on rush street. You will be surrounded by restaurants and bars galore. Virgin Records is on the corner (Ohio and Michigan). It's part of the hotel complex. Marriott is sandwiched in between the Shops of North Bridge- a four-storied mall which features Nordstrom. The Marriot Courtyard is close by the Marriott it sits off State Street on Hubbard. The Marriott Residence is a half block from the John Hancock.

You can walk out the back of the hotel over to State and Grand and take the "L" Red Line north to Belmont come down the stairs outside the train station and you will see Berlin to your left across the street. ($1.75 to ride the train).

Sunday, June 27, 2004 is the night. Don't forget you will be in Chicago during the Taste which is free(11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.). You just have to purchase tickets to eat ($11 for 10 tickets). The concerts are free.

If you want to know how to get to any place in Chicago, I'm the woman to know. smile

If you're interested in Museums, Tuesday is free day at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Thursday is free day at the Nature Museum on Fullerton and Cannon Drive (take the 151 Sheridan bus). If you go to the Nature Museum, visit the Lincoln Park Conservatory and Lincoln Park Zoo on the same day (they are both free all year round and across the street from the Nature Museum).

The other museums will make you pay (Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and Museum of Science and Industry).

Don't forget to visit Navy Pier. It looks amazing considering what it looked like in 1980 when the Chicagofest was held there on a piece of slab ugly concrete.

I can't wait for you to get to my city. Chicago, the greatest city in the world. London is second.

I live close to chicago but I'm going to the 3rd show on Monday. Any hotel downtown Chicago is nice. I would of gotten a hotel by Allstate Arena, That way you might even be able to walk there. When are you coming into town?

I'm going to all 5 Chicago shows and the Berlin night. I live six blocks from Berlin so I usuallly walk to the club and back home.

I'm also going to see Prince in Toronto, July 27. Airline tickets and hotel rooms are already booked.

Hey,
I will be in town not il the 29th. i plan to go to the Cubs game that night and Prince the next. I would have stayed closer to Allstate Arena, but I heard we really don't want to be in that area. Besides, I would rather catch a ride to the concert and be in downtown to stumble home from the Bars!!!
Keep the Party movin!!!!!
