Bring a Banner?? Hey all-
I want to know if people have been bringing signs for PRINCE at these concerts? Does he read them? IS this a good way to send him a message if you are in the front few rows? Or is this lame, wierd, and annoying to the people on stage? Thanks!!! Onepeach4u Kansas

I think more people do it when they know they're gonna be at the balcony seats by a railing, or at least far enough out that a sign could catch his eye. I haven't seen a lot of banners at the shows I've been to, but there have been a couple here or there.
I dare you to do what someone's been doing at a bunch of Bowie shows lately - show up in a pink bunny suit. THAT'LL getcha noticed.

I think it's more annoying to the people behind you and the banner. But my question is what could you possibly say on a banner that warrants Prince reading it. I'm sure he's seen plenty of signs of people telling him how much they love him, etc.
Or are you planning on putting your phone number on a banner?

i thought about busting out the ol' poompoom sign just for old time's sake. i decided against it since this is a hits tour and there's no chance of him doing it...plus, that was kind of an inside joke for me and some old friends of mine. unfortunately, they will not be attending any of the shows with me this time around so it seems kind of pointless to have the sign with me.

"that warrants being read?"
LOL- That is an odd comment, I mean the man is on stage-sharing his craft with an audience...It would be pretty self-absorbed to think your audience isn't worth paying attention to-every small drop of water makes an ocean afterall! phone #? no lol...he's a happily married guy!

I know that girl, and if Prince comes to town, she's a concert whore and likes Prince so she might go. The bunny thing isn't just for Bowie, so who knows, maybe Prince will be getting some ORIGINAL pink bunny love.

Then apparently your friend showed up on the same Plane Bowie was on recently...and she was in her bunny suit.

Sounds sort of creepy, I know, but she didn't actually mean to be on the same plane as Bowie. There's been some news reports lately that have made her out to be a stalker, but she's not. She didn't even notice him on the plane until ten minutes before it landed, because she was busy talking a snooze. As for not taking off the bunny suit before going on the plane, well...err... she's like that. She just really likes dressing up as a bunny.

Banners at concerts irritate the hell out of me! Why, because I usually end up sitting a couple of rows behind someone waving one and can't see a damn thing on stage = too far to ask them to stop!
I want to start a campaign "NO BANNERS AT CONCERTS, NO BANNERS AT CONCERTS " now repeat a thousand times! 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

I had a sign. Not a banner. When I say sign I mean 11x17-inch piece of white paper taped to a piece of cardboard with the same dimensions. The purpose of my sign was to let Prince know I saw him 21 years ago to the date (old school - before Purple Rain was even in pre-production).
My brother and I held the sign up by our heads during one song and one song only, 'D.M.S.R.' for about 15 seconds, which Prince read and pointed to me. I held the sign up a couple more times (chest high) not to block other concertgoers view. Prince's photographer took a picture of my brother and me with the sign. Banners should hang from balcony railings. They will probably make the (I'm sure he's going to come out with it) video cut at some point. Hopefully, the banner will say something like, "Prince, 26 Years and Still Going Strong." Do your thang and don't let anyone talk you out of it!!!!
