Advice, please: to join NPG or not?

Is it worth joining the NPG club to get floor seats?
If I join NPG Thurday can I buy tickets Friday for the 8/10 ATL show?
We had lower level, row C ($80 or so) for the 4/30 show at Phillips and I enjoyed being up higher off the floor and able to see everything.
Are the floor seats more fun? Better? More $?

Thanks!

Hard to say, it depends on the venue. I was in V.I.P. area for the Tampa show and didn't
like the sound up there as I was about the same level as the speakers. It Makes a difference if Speakers are above you - just like the speakers are way above Prince's Just like Try to be below that linehead. You don't have to be at the floor level, either.

As for joining the club? Join it for the right reasons not just for concert tickets.

You should do that, baby.

After you join, you won't have to pay convenience fees and you'll get better seats. I've gotten tix for four shows from NPGMC so far, which means I've saved about $60-$80 bucks in TicketMaster fees and I'll more than likely have better seats than Ticketmaster folks to boot. It's very much worth twennyfive measley bucks to join the club - I think TicketMaster tix are sloppy seconds in comparison.

if you buy tickets from ticketmaster, you'll pay about 25 bucks in service fees/shipping/taxes. if you join the club, you still pay 25 bucks but get better seats plus any future ticket purchases will be free of the above mentioned fees. then you get to save on download costs as well. join the club.

Join the club. I've seen 4 shows since I joined and I've the furthest I've been was 7th row. In fact I've been 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th!!

And I agree. Savings on Ticketb*stard fees alone make it worth it.

I was about to join for the ATL tickets, but I see you can only get 2! Is that right? I can understand not selling 8 or so, but I need three!!!

nope.

you get the seats that are available closest to the stage. excluding la and the 1st chicago show, all seats have been on the floor (i think). its been hard to get those seats on ticketmaster...plus you gots to pay the fees. the only catch...as there has to be one...you don't know what seats you get until the day of the show.
