Prince Adds *THIRD* Atlanta Show! BY OVERWHELMING DEMAND PRINCE "MUSICOLOGY" TOUR ADDS 3rd AND FINAL ATLANTA
CONCERT ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 10th -- "SCHOOL'S IN" PRINCE "MUSICOLOGY" TOUR CONTINUES WITH NATIONWIDE SOLD-OUT CONCERTS AND CD RELEASE Tickets On-Sale Saturday, May 8th At Noon Pop icon Prince and the New Power Generation's coast-to-coast Musicology concert tour of North America is proving to be "the must-see" tour of summer 2004. A third and final Atlanta show has just been added on Tuesday, August 10th at Philips Arena. Tickets for the August 10th performance will be on-sale Saturday, May 8th at Noon. Ticket demand for the Musicology tour has been unprecedented and concert dates continue to be added nationwide. Six concert dates are currently scheduled in the New York tri-state area, five in Southern California and Chicago and three in Detroit, Atlanta, St. Paul, Washington DC and the Bay Area. Two shows are scheduled in Las Vegas, Dallas, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Denver and Seattle. The tour comes on the heels of Prince's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and his heart-stopping Grammy opening performance with multiple-award-winner Beyonce. The highly acclaimed new CD, "Musicology" was released on April 20 on Columbia Records and is now available in stores. The concert features Prince per4ming some of his most well known hits live 4 the last time and also includes music from the "Musicology" CD. The ticket price includes the new CD and concert attendees will receive it at the show. A center-stage, in the round production allows Prince fans unique sight lines. Prince has sold more than 100 million records and is regarded by fans and critics alike as a monumental force and influence in popular culture. During the '80s, Prince emerged as one of the most singular talents in the history of music, releasing a series of groundbreaking albums that both defined and captured the spirit of the times. With each successive album, Prince has shown remarkable stylistic growth and musical diversity, constantly experimenting with different sounds, topics and genres. Few artists have created a body of work as rich and varied. Each show is one long dance party with Prince supplying the music!
