At the Raleigh RBC center show there were two car wheels sitting behind John's drums, one on each side. Did anyone else notice these? Were they at any of the other shows? Anyone know why they were there?
Inquiring minds want to know (well....mine anyway)!

He told me that they were indeed "spinners". I don't know the significance as far as them being at the show, but if only I could afford some for my car! LOL

I think they are just there as set dressing. He did similar things on ONA. There were car grills mounted to the front of the keyboard rigs. A Mercedes and a BMW I beleive. Prince just likes cars and chrome and its a good, cheap, off the rack way to decorate the stage. Money isn't flowing all over the place like it was back in say Lovesexy/SOTT times, you know?

Actually maybe it is and he just doesn't want to spend money on that sort of stuff anymore. As I recall the T-bird from Lovesexy cost a FORTUNE.

Prolly! And what about that "bubble thing"? Straight out of the Sharper Image catalog!!

Now I'm not complaining, mind you. I say save your money Prince. Give us more music, not more stage do-dads!! The time for the traveling basketball courts and hydrolic beds is past, IMO.
