So I guess I wait and buy tickets for the 12th, if I want to go to the last show of the tour?? I think 4 days in Oakland is possible, I'd guess 3 is more realistic, but we'll see tomorrow (Sunday) when tickets for the Sept. 9 show go on sale to the public. I already got my ticket for the 9th (NPGMC), but I'd really like to go to the last show...but how am I gonna figure out WHICH show will end up being the last!? why isnt the oakland listed on ticketmaster yet?

The last three dates each go on sale 5, 6 hours before the actual concert takes place... wtf? I mean, like, where is the sun?

my guess is that they are probably just reserving the dates until they know how strong the demand for tickets is?
i think we can purchase them via tickets.com instead of ticketmaster.... isnt that strange?

no because the Oakland arena always goes thru tickets.com
same with Arco Arena "Paisley Park is in your Heart"

i am reluctant to think 4 shows especially since they are sold THRU tickets.com
and not ticketmaster dont know if as much hype was made about this as the san jose shows.....but lets still hope as of now, it isnt sold out.....san jo sold MUCH quicker "Paisley Park is in your Heart"

hi there...
i am in section 113..... im excited to not have the NPG seats. i have them for the las vegas show, but ive read awful things about the music club seats.. first prince concert? my god. this must be my 20th? first was parade in 1986 in new york. favorite was definitely lovesexy in 1988, just unbelievable. but the show at the fillmore this year was pretty great too.. just being so close .. the energy was great .. and you knew that it was going to be a great year for him..

I noticed this morning that the Friday, Saturday and Sunday links have been removed from
Tickets.com site. Perhaps, they are only going to have the Thursday show since sales seem to be pretty slow so far.

i should check the computers where i used to work to see if the other concerts are on the tickets.com system.
oh and arco arena goes thru ticketmaster, i used to get people all the time asking if we sold kings tickets. everything arco is ticketmaster. [This message was edited Tue May 4 1:58:12 2004 by kawikabot] Love's no fun when the one you love don't love you.

I'm in section 110! Are we neighbors? I've been to the Oakland Arena before - when I was VERY young. I think I went for Sesame Street on Ice or something. We (boyfriend and myself) had no idea what the arena looks like, and which way Prince would be facing, so we crossed our fingers and bought section 110. Anything is better than the San Jose Arena though! (p.s. we missed the member presale by 2 days... didn't find out that he would even BE in Oakland until 2 hours before tickets went on sale on tickets.com! In retrospect, I'm happier with these tickets, because I've also heard terrible things about the music club seats... hell, I'm happy with ANYTHING, as we weren't even going to be able to catch him in the first place!)
