Upcoming KC concert-Floor seat ?'s

Dear everyone!

Greetings from Kansas! (Dorothy says hello as well-!) I bought floor seats 2nd row, for this concert (anything but reasonably priced too neutral ) I have heard from some people that floor seats are great and from others that they are at a disadvantage. Now I am extremely worried because I assumed that floor seats were what everyone wanted to purchase because of the proximity to the stage.

When I look at the seating arrangement for the arena there are two smaller looking floor sections on the north and south side of the stage, while there are floor sections that appear to have much deeper rows-on the east and west side of the stage. My seats are in the smaller section that sits to the south of the stage.

My tickets are for chairs 7 and 8 of row two. Does anyone know if the seats go clockwise or counter clock wise around the stage? Will seat #1 be to the west or east of my section?

Anyone that could help me out with this would be greatly appreciated!! lol

At the Cleveland concert, I was where you are going to be (if I'm reading your description correctly), and the seats went counter-clockwise, at least in that section. I was front row, seats 9 and 10.

It may run differently in other stadiums, but from what I can tell you'll have quite good seats...I don't think you'll be behind the drums like I was...seriously, 2 seats made a huge difference.

Peach- good luck! I'll be at the show, too. Maybe I'll bump into you!

But the front seats are not all created equal. Behind the drums and horns are pretty bad seats, IMO. Bad sight lines and compromised sound. But I am actually hoping to be behind the drums in KC- since I'm taking the drummer in my band and he'll really enjoy watching Blackwell up close.

I took my bass player to Ames and we ended up right in front of Rhonda. He was happy!! biggrin
