Just got in from the greatest Prince show I have seen to date. All I need to say are 3 words..."Joy In Repetition"...Yes, he did play it instead of "Question of U", He also added "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" to the acoustic set, It sounded great he almost didn't do it, just the first verse and asked, "what yall know about that?" The response got the rest of the song. I couldn't believe he played Joy in Rep. that was great, also the sax solo on "God" was amazing!!! I am a hardcore Revolution fan, don't get me wrong but after seeing that, I would love to see the NPG anytime backing Prince. As I was getting ready to leave the voice came over the PA: "Official NPG After Party @ Club Liquid" I was so amazed but sadly I was unable to attend cause I have to get up really early in the morning. If Anyone has any stories about the after party then feel free 2 post em here. One part that was hillarious was during "Kiss" When the fans were up on stage and Prince turned the mike over to some "mini-mike' wanna be pimp in a suit and hat with a cane. As He "sang" Prince motioned like he was drinking incinuating that the guy was drunk, that was great! What was that one song he covered for a second talkin about it being from back in High School, then stopped and said "Yeah, whatever, yall know yall was feelin that..." I know the song but I can't remember the name. I thought he was gonna do "Alphabet St." but it was a great show, wow, He only changed outfits a couple of times. The acoustic set was great as usuall. I was nearly brought to tears during "Sometimes It Snows In April." Well it's getting late so I gotta go, I'll check back 2morrow, anyone with questions or answers about the Knoxville show/after show post em here.
