Second Toronto concert on July 28 added to Prince's Musicology tour

TORONTO (CP) - Prince has added a second show in Toronto to his current tour, which is being promoted as the last time he plays his hits live.


His concert promoter announced Wednesday that the rock star's Musicology tour will be at the Air Canada Centre on July 28, in addition to the sold-out July 27 show.

The concert will have a centre stage surrounded by seats.

When the tour opened in Los Angeles last month, an AP music reviewer said Prince blasted through his 25-year catalogue of hits with "more panache, whimsy and skill than anyone in music today."

The tour coincides with the release of a new CD, and comes on the heels of Prince's recent opening performance at the Grammys with Beyonce.

Prince, who has sold more than 100 million records, maintains a home in Toronto's posh Bridle Path neighbourhood.
