Me too...I finally broke down and joined the club, in hopes of getting a really good ticket to the SF date that was rumored...still waiting. sad (But I can't feel too bad since I did go to Reno!) I was tempted to just buy a cheap seat at the June 2 SJ date, but didn't. I'm gonna hold out for another show...or hope I luck out at the last minute again like I did with the Reno show.

yeah we know there are 2 shows in San Jose
BUT.....
not all of us live in that area

I live 30 mins north of Sacramento.....I am attending 1 SJ show not 2 because it takes almost 3 hours to get there and I have to be at work at 7am the next day.

The Bay Area is only 1.5 hours for me.....so I am hoping to attend more shows!!!!!

I heard a rumor that he may add a Bay Area date for the fall, probably around September.Wouldn't it be cool if he played the Shoreline Amphihtheatre? It's an outdoor venue. He played there in October 1997 and it was a memorable performance.

He wont play Shoreline because the show is preferred IN THE ROUND.

He will most likely play Oakland Arena or Cow Palace (altho thats unlikely)

It may be in the “area” but it’s still a ways away…and if you don’t have a car, you have to rent one, like me.

I too broke down and got the SJ tix. I simply could not rely on “More bay area dates to be added…most likely”. I missed out on the first member tix selling but got the second one.

A lot of my friends want to go…but can’t get to SJ – and want to go together (most of us don’t have cars…like the majority of San Franciscans). And unlike me, they will hold out for that “most likely” show…if there is one.

I think it’s not that it’s in SJ as if that was the definitive Bay area show, it should have said so. I think there was a lot of ambiguity around the dates and place in general.

Why SJ and not SF? I have no clue.

nod I live in San Jose, and too often, our city gets excluded when folks mention the "Bay Area",but we're a part of it too.
