Why did I just see a commerical on BET announcing the 3rd concert a Joe Louis arena and that the tickets are already on sale...WTF

Did anyone else see the commercial?

I went on the Olympia Entertainment site this morning and it states the tickets go on sale 5/1.

Man..those tickets had better not already be on sale..

the concert is NOT general admission!!!
general ticket sales go on sale thru ticketmaster on May 1st

I was a little slow this morning...now my seats don't say "floor"
Both my other shows are floor seats...WTF??? I waited 10 minutes and
can't get a floor seat?
It's probably a good thing...we're hearing that the close up seats aren't the
best seats in the house for this stage set-up.

O.K.---I'm totally bummed. I didn't get to check my e-mail yesterday and I just found out at 10:15 a.m. today that the presale was on. Of course, I'm at my work computer which does not want to let me in to the NPGMC. If anyone can help a sista out, please org note me.

For those of you that got Detroit Joe lois tickets today in the presale. Did anyones tickets say floor onthe confirmation?? I ordered 2 tikcets and they dont say floor or side, whats up with this??

Who's going down to Joe Louis Arena to get tickets tomorrow? What time are you going to get there?

I bought tickets today, and there was nothing about where they are at. I've bought will call before, I could have sworn that I knew where they were. I am going to hate to have to wait until I pick up my tickets to see where they are at.

[b]I ordered mine right at 10 am, the ticket just says $78 will call, I am very dissapointed in the club for NEVER notifing me about the show thru e-mail, I just keep having to check the web site for pre-sale info. Although they CAN notify me when cds or new merch. goes on sale.....ain't about the $ ....really

Ok...I got my tickets and I am still pissed. First, I was there before 8:30 and I wound up with tickets in section 224, which according to the seating chart, is the upper bowl.(nosebleed section). There were less than 100 people ahead of me...wtf. The kicker is that I still paid 78.00 for the ticket...where are the 49.50 seats if they are selling upperbowl tickets for the higher price? Second, my ticket says 75.00, but I paid 78.00..I thought there wasn't a service fee if tickets are purchased at the box office.

Sorry for the rant, but I am really dissappointed. I might just try selling the tickets on Ebay and be content with the June 20th show...

Oh yeah, while in line to buy my tickets, I won tickets to Angie Stone's concert next week at St. Andrews. 102.7 had a raffle and gave away tickets and t-shirts.

Did you see my other post about the stage? I thought 224 was the back of the stage.

I should have gone home and bought my tickets online.
Incidentally, I also had my cell phone and called ticketmaster from 10 AM until my battery ran down. I never got thru ticketmaster on the phone... but someone behind me was on the phone talking to someone who was online. 1006 he says the only seats available was upper level. Now I find out the whole floor was reserved for fan club He did get seats before we made it to the window. Seems online was the way to go.

BTW is the upper section so far that I will need binoculars to see anything?
I have been to the palace and got upper seats, and they weren't bad. Also been to Cobo and got upper seats... again, I could not see the mustache on Luther's face but I was able to enjoy the show without looking on the projector screen or use binoculars.

If you go on www.olympiaentertainment.com, you can view the seating chart for JL Arena. That's why I am so furious. I stood out in the rain and cold for upper bowl tickets. I haven't been to JL in 20 yrs, the last P concert I went to, so I don't recall what it looks like inside, but from the seating chart, it doesn't look good...

BTW, I got there around 8:20, so we probably did see each other..
