Prince afterparty in Columbus Ohio!!!!!!!!!

I heard on a local radio station that an afterparty will take place at "Club Aquarium" after the Prince concert on Friday April 16th. The admittance is free if you produce your ticket stub from the Prince concert. The address of the club is 5750, next to a "Best Buy". I hope to see many orgs there. Peace + B Wild!!!

This is great news! I sincerely hope that Prince does an aftershow after the Cleveland concert, but as we all know, that is subject to change.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

is this an official afterparty? Don't they usually wait until after the concert to announce these? Any idea if there's an aftershow? Seems doubtful but they don't have that far to drive tomorrow. One reason I went to two shows was to get a shot at an aftershow in one town.

If it's no guarantee that Prince will perform, and all indications are thathe will not until later in the tour, it it worth it to stay up and hang out at the afterparties. What generally is the atmosphere. If it's just a DJ playing the Prince songs we all hear on the radio, I would rather skip that and go home and listen to my CD's that are raw, and unsensored....

I am able to make the distinction between the two, my question is, "Is is worth it to hang around for the afterPARTY?

after show usually involves a performance, afterparty is a get together at a club where p may or may not be.

Please post if you know if it's an NPGMC event or not. I heard commercial on Power 107.5 radio about it. It mentioned you bring your concert ticket stub and get in free. It didn't say anything about it being an official after party...or anything like that. let me know if you hear anything.

Well....I was there at RedZone and yes it was an afterparty and yes Prince showed up just a little after midnite.....he didnt stay but maybe 1/2 hr to 45 mins but he stayed long enough to wave and let everyone see him and they played 2 songs while he was there.."Kiss" and "Illusion,Coma,Pimp and Circumstance".....and let me just say how FUNKY it was to hear the Pimp song in a club.....sounded great but I dont think everyone that showed up for the afterparty knew the song yet.....I guess they didnt listen to their cds in the car on the way to the club.....smile

After Prince left....we hung out for awhile longer and I got to meet Candy.....I told her I liked her singing and she thanked me and told me how she first felt when Prince asked her to do it like she was not so sure but in the end it worked out then I congratulated her and the band on a great show...other band members I saw Mike Scott and Blackwell.....it was def not worth 20.00 to stand around wave to Prince and hear a couple songs.....still a great nite but no Princely adventure in Columbus this time.....smile

Have all of the official after parties/shows been 21 and up? If so, that's really disapointing. I'm so damn close... but that doesn't ice the cake, does it?
