It was my first concert on the Musicology Tour at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati. It rocked!! I had so much fun, it was great.

My Review: Well first of all, I went with my mom who had gotten us tickets when she heard that Prince was going to be in Cincinnati. She told me and i freaked!! I couldn't believe that i was actually going to see Prince!!

Well on the day of the concert, It took us a while getting to the arena but we finally made it, and on good timing too. We found a great parking space so we didn't have far luckily to walk, you know because of the weather. But anyway, We went into the Arena and i couldn't believe all the people that were there. Everyone was walking around and stuff and i saw a couple of people wearing shirts with Prince on it and his symbol..I would have worn one only if i had got one in time for the concert (I was going to get a t-shirt with my favorite picture of Prince on it from the Emancipation Cover but it was two days until the concert and it would take the people two weeks to make it so i was pissed), but you know. Anyways, When we got in the door, the staff checked me and my mom's purse to see if we had any cameras, good thing i left mine in the car . All i had on me was some binoculars so i could see Prince's face up close. After we got our purses and tickets checked, We went to the restroom and then went to go find our seats. I got one of those red slushies that were going around, and it wasn't half bad but three dollars is too damn much money for a cup of ice with some red shit on it. After i finished my slushie, my mom went to go get some popcorn and a beer. I sat there lookin' all goofie and it was 7:30 by the time she got back. The show was late starting at 8 but it was still cool and all.

When Prince finally came out it got dark and up on the big screens, They had the footage of Alicia Keys and Outkast of them inducting Prince into the Rockin' Roll Hall of fame or what every that was. Then there was different footage off him from over the years and it was playing "My name is Prince" in the back ground. I got too excited, and started screaming,
I almost fell out of my seat. But anyways i was looking over at where Prince was entering and all i could see was the purple symbol gutair. I was like "OH MY GOD, THAT'S PRINCE!!". When i saw Prince on that stage i almost passed out. He was dancing and doing all of this while
i was dancing all the time and singing along with him. He song a couple of my favorite songs like "Take me with you" and "Little red corvette" which made the evening memorable. And
in the middle of one of the songs, Prince said something and all this confetti (white and gold) fell out of the sky. It was a whole bunch of it and the shit was getting into my slushie (later on i found some in my shirt). Some even got into my mouth .

But anyways, After the concert..Prince broke it all down with Purple Rain. I was crying, it was so beautiful. Everyone was singing along and some people even took out their lighters. It was just like in the movie, so beautiful. But the funniest moment of the night was..While i was looking on the stage with my binoculars, I spotted somebody throwing a bra and some panties onto the stage. It was hilarious!! I think Prince saw them but while he was doin' his thang on the gutair, he walked over them.

After that..The rest of the night at the concert was good. But it was the best x-perience of my life..

Prince broke it down!! He brought the whole arena down...
It was too Fonky..

My First Prince Concert Was Last Night,,,,It Was Sooooo Cool!!!! I Love Him And He'z SOOOOO Beautiful!!!!

The only bad part was we got ripped off on tickets..
Ticketmaster was selling them for $75
My mom got them online at $150 a piece!! WTF??

I'm so glad to hear you had a great time at the concert. There's nothing in the world like a Prince concert. NOTHING.

I'm a concert virgin, too. The ATL show will be my first (if you don't count the simulcast).
