Just from checking what is still available online, Knoxville TN is definitely no where close to selling out. The prob though is that Knoxville's arena is the largest basketball arena (on campus) in America. It seats 25,000. So, a crowd of 8,000 - 10,000 still makes the place look empty. As of yesterday, there were some prime lower level seats still available. I am talking 6th row, lower level. Am I a little anxious about the crowd size in Knoxville.

I had a feeling that the issue of selling out big arenas nation wide would be an issue. That is why I was surprised that there was such a small limit on the number of tickets that NPGMC members could purchase. It would have been smarter to increase that number so you know at least the "best" seats would be sold.I live in StLouis and will be attending both the KC and STL shows and on ticketmaster both have $75.00 seats available.Oh well, I guess each of us attending these non soldout shows will just have to party a little harder.

Bossier City, La will probably not come close to selling out. If the music being played ain't skrew, bounce, country, or that Britney Spear's garbage, then it isn't cool here for some reason. But, Louisiana seems to be a hard state to sell out for any artist. I guess people go on Bourbon Street and feel that it's enough entertainment. I hope that the floor and first level sell out at least. I don't want Prince to feel like he's wasting his time stopping here, even though my friend and I are going to the show and will be loud enough to raise the dead. wink

whats it matter anyway? with the exception of jimmy buffett, most artists only sellout the bigger cities. It has always been like that. Go online and check out some of the big tours, you can find a ticket to almost any concert you want to go to.

The shows that have not sold out probaly have nosebleed seats left. I don't know to many people who are going to pay $50.00 or more to see nothing. This tour is mega successful. Take your hater nosense somewhere else.

That is correct. Moreover, he adds more concert dates (as in NYC) if there is a demand for it.
first day sold out in a couple of days, so he added a second, same thing thern a third.

THE REASON? Ticketbroker.com or the like buys tickets for the good seats and tries to sell them on the net and ,yes, at the gates too.

Prince wants real fans to be in the arena. So he added a THIRD day in NYC, that's got to teach ticketbrokers not to mess with this man.

So REMEMBER Empty seats also means that Ticketbroker .com etc... got STUCK with the tickets and could not sell them to anyone.
