Where the hell did you all come from? I'm a southern Kentucky boy myself, going to the Cincy concert, i didn't know there was a Knoxville concert to go to. BTW, a funny story. I was at the Carousel in Knoxville last night and the dj put on "17 Days", I was one of four people who were actually on the dance floor dancing, and the only one to dance the entire song. As I was leaving the dance floor, the dj put the spot light on me and thanked me for having good taste in music, and invited me into his dj booth. Turns out this cat was around for the 81 & 84 shows played in Knoxville, he was working for a radio station and ended up getting to do an interview with some key players in the tour along with P. He also mentioned having a back-log of "unreleased" music that i will be picking up the next time i'm in KnoxVegas. Now time to go get tickets for Knoxville.

I have row 9, west seats 9 & 10. R These good seats? I heard a story that some seats were blocked by the band and I was just curious. These are floor seats by the way, 9 rows from the stage. Any help?

I'll be there and I am bringing along seven friends. I don't think the show has sold very well (at least according to the ticket selection still available on the net). So, any of you all that are heading to Knoxville need to load up more of your friends to fill the seats. As of yesterday there were plenty of lower level seats still available. I am praying that the lower level gets filled. I'd hate for Prince to cut the show short because of low attendance. So, bring more people with you!

I got tickets today 15 rows up in the center of the arena today. It was only one ticket, but there WAS a nice selection..The Boling Center is HUGE..25,000 seats. Raleigh's almost sold out the next night but know that Prince never mails it in performance wise especially when the crowd is "up"..weird, but might make for a strangely intimate show if there is a small crowd and the people are into it.

prince SO LET'S GET INTO IT!!!!! headbang Carry on..

This will B the first Tennessee show of the tour, I've got my fingers crossed in hopes that he adds "Alphabet St." to the setlist as well as the 3 song encore. I hope that it is an intimate show and he really gets n2 it cause I probably won't get 2 see him again 4 a while after this show! just 3 more days!!! eek

When he last played K-town in 1997, he did the piano medley and played Alphabet Street as part of it. He sang up to the point of "Tennessee" and the crowd screamed it out really loudly. However, Prince "scolded" everyone and said something like "Y'all got too excited and jumped the gun. Patience, patience. Now, let's try it again." He started up the line and when it got time to say Tennessee he pointed to the crowd "Now." He got a pretty big kick out of the whole thing.

He has been playing Alphabet St. as part of the acoustic set the past few shows. I think the odds are good that we will hear it in K-town.

Oh yeah, on the ticket situation. Go to tickets.com or to knoxvilletickets.com. They are the same site once you get into it. These places are not scalping agencies. There are plenty of good seats available. Although, it is not going to be quite as empty as I originally thought. I went to the ticket sites last night to see what they had. The lower level will be fairly filled and I think the cheaper tickets up top have sold smatterly. Is that a word? Anyway, everyone get your knoxville tickets NOW.
