what should I wear???? okay all of you org'ers who have already attended the new concert, what should I wear?
Do you recommend sneakers? Or do you recommend dressing up (suit, etc.)? I've been racking my brain since I bought my tickets, and now I need some advice. objective: to be cute and dance as long as possible without having to worry about my feet hurting or being uncomfortable. If you want to get on stage and you are a female dress "nice sexy". Low riders and crop tops seemed effective. Nice shoes too. If you want to get on stage and you are male mimic the way Prince is dressing. I wore a bright red shirt and black tie and black pants with wing-tip shoes. I do think having the right look helped me get up on stage. If you don't care about getting on stage wear something comfortable and enjoy yourself! If you want to dress up (or in any particular way) just because that's what you feel like doing tht night then do it! Its a free country! Personally when I perform w/ my band I always dress for the occassion and I appreciate audience members who do as well. Its nice. Make it an event. But I don't mind when people come in jeans and t-shirts either. As long as they are there I am happy. I'm sure Prince is the same way.

Everybody does their own thing. That is fun, you see all kinds of people in all kinds of gear. I saw a lot of sexy outfits on the gals and some couples who were dressed to the 9's and that was very cool.
,I always wear my latest and most stylish Prince T-shirt, put on a lot of bangle braclets, rings, long dancing earrings to dress up the T-Shirt, and then some nice slacks and COMFORTABLE shoes. That's just me. A lot of ladies wear short skirts and heels and they look great, but for me I know that I am going to be on my feet for many hours before, during and sometimes after the show so I HAVE to wear comfy shoes. I dance and stomp and jump. You get the idea. In OKC some girls came on the state with T-Shirts and jeans. One young and not flashy (not much makeup, no jewelry, plain )sister got on stage with plain ole sweatshirt and jeans, didn't dance all that great and yet she was the one that Prince had sing Kiss with him. So you just never know what will happen. I would say in general that the Prince audiences are the best dressed that I have seen, but there are a lot of casual people too. Have FUN!!!

Sneakers & a shirt that's cute but not low cut so your tits don't pop out... if you're even a girl I didn't read this very well

Something comfortable you can dance in! If you'll be more comfortable in sneaks, go that way. Buy a concert T-shirt and throw it on over whatever you're wearing, you'll be the height of fashion.
