Hey girl glad you had a great time at the show!!! My dad lives in OK and DOES NOT have a computer! He lives in Blanchard and the videio store there is in the back of the subway and says "We're open from the time we get here to the time we leave". I don't think they have a computer either. They check the movies out manually.

Want beer? Come on up to Stillwater, AKA "Little Germany"!

I was at the OKC show CherryCherry. I sent you an orgnote a few days ago...did you get it? The concert was amazing. It rekindled my love of his work. When he was here in 1997 during the Jam of The Year Tour, he was still swearing and all of that. I was wondering how it would affect the show without the cursing...turns out, the show was so much better without the potty mouth. It made Prince look more innocent and, well...cute...he was just cute. So much so that if he were to swear, it would be like hearing your 3 year old nephew dole out a profanity in church. Without even daring to know what Prince thinks, he gave the impression that he was beyond that, almost above that sort of speech.
With all that said, there are times I miss that in his new music, but I'm glad to be missing it. With swearing, it's like hitting you in the face with a frying pan, concise, to the point. Without swearing you have to fall back on imagery, and if it's done well it forces you to think and it pulls you into a song more effectively than swearing ever could.
"All Hail King Bart!"
