So,who's going? Any Orgers coming from out-of-town to attend these shows on June 1 and 2? Anybody wanna organize some kinda meet-up before the show? There's a great Mexican restaurant/bar called Emmas,it's a few blocks from the HP Pavilion.I always hang out here before a concert at the arena.Who wants to meet up for a few drinks before the show?

Will there be Nachos? If so good idea!

I have tickets for the show on the second. I'm not sure how I'll get out of going to work though. I'm going to have to start practicing my cough.

Does anyone know when the presale is going to be for the second show

I am Tho I caved in... I missed the premember sale for it. I'm in the bay area and wasn't certain if this was the show for SF or not. So I got a ticket through ticketbastard. got 18th row lower level...so not too bad. Taking a friend too...he's never been to a P concert. SHould be cool.

of course I'll go to one in the bay area if it gets announced.

During the monday night screening, while he was performing "The One", I turned to my friend and said: DAYUM, I may need to go to San Jose after all. She looked at me and said she was just thinking the same exact thing. :-p So I broke down and got a side seat for the second show. I figure he'll have to do at LEAST two if not three SF/OAK shows, and I'm guessing he'll do them either May 21/22/23 (before his week in LA), June 6/7 (Can you say BIRTHDAY show!!???) or in early September.

In any case, I'll go to those as well, but I guess I can drive my ass down the peninsula to see some funk! It's a school night, but if he really starts at 8 pm, we'll be out by 10:30 pm and that's not so bad. It's just too hard to sleep at night knowing Prince is playing somewhere nearby. I said I'm not travelling to see him anymore (save another celebration), but I won't count San Jose. Just anything further than an hour's drive. SHIT - I forgot about traffic!! It's on a weekday, concert at 8 pm?!!! AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH, kick me. Oh well, guess I'll have to leave work early.

Oh, I'll wear one of my Prince.org t-shirts!!

I used to live right down the street from the Pavilion in SJ. Will be a great homecoming for me. I can't wait. I've got friends I could stay with, but have reserved a room about five blocks away just for the fun of it.

The best place to eat is at Emmas,a cool Mexican restaurant with a great bar.This place is like my "Cheers",I'm a regular...lol...Typically,when there's a concert at the HP Pavilion,lotsa people stop here before the show,since it's only a few blocks from the arena.This place has an outdoor patio where you can sit and mingle.There's a wonderful salsa club upstairs (Club Miami) for those of you who may wanna do a little salsa-dancing after the concert.


But if you want American food,right next door to Emmas is Brittanica Arms,a bar that also serves food.This place also gets packed before a show at the arena.

Walk a few more blocks to San Pedro Street,you will find The Spaghetti Factory,specializing in pasta dishes,and Peggy Sues,one of those 50s-styled hamburger joints.There are a ton of other food places in downtown San Jose,but you may not wanna venture too far from the arena.

I'll be there. I'm bringing my 12 year old (she'll actually be 13 on 5/26) it will be her 1st Prince concert!!

Count me in for the second show!!! Let's organize our own aftershow!!
