during the fantastic dallas show last night Prince announced that he was coming back on june 11 for a second show. what a dallas show especially the acoustic set and the crowd went nuts for Prince.

He would add a second show after I bought tickets for Bossier City on June 12 because I couldn't get good seats for last night's show. Much as I love Prince, I'm not going broke to see him twice in two days. He'd better not be tired when he makes it to Bossier the next day!

We got "up close and personal" with one of the band members on our way out of the arena (he was the really big guy. Forgive me, I don't know his name). He was asked about an aftershow and he said he was going back to the hotel and going to bed. He was also asked about them coming back to Dallas in June and he said Prince hadn't said anything to them about it before. We figured maybe Prince had just meant that they would be back to *Texas* in June (San Antonio). We didn't hear Prince say an actual *day* in June.

My personal "brush with greatness" continued when I had returned to my hotel room and was going back out to the clubs for the night. The elevator doors opened in the lobby and I was faced with that same band member along with Renato Neto and a couple of the horn players. I was in shock and just got out of their way as I got off and they got on. They were staying at the Melrose Hotel on Cedar Springs. Pretty cool! Does anyone know if Prince actually stayed there, too?

After Prince made the announcement they showed on the big screens that the concert date is June 11 and tickets go on sale on April 17...or at least I think that's what i read...
