Okay, I've had the day to chill about last night.
I kept running the concert through my mind, and playing the Musicology disc non-stop... I must say, without question, and without sounding like a blind-to-everything-else-Prince-fan, last night's show was the most incredible Prince performance I've seen in a looooong time. 
The song list was pretty much what someone else posted on the LA Review thread, and he was happily performing everything on it. He was in rare form... style, energy, etc... Damn. I'm still very much blown away from the concert... (and feeling a very big hole in my wallet from all the "gear" I bought last night!  ).

Oh yeah... friend of mine says Prince went to the movies after our show. I know a guy who's friends with a person who manages a theatre. He said Prince rented out a theatre for him and his guests to view (get this) "Jersey Girl"!
It was after hours, so she had to be there while he was viewing. If any pics were taken, or any more info is given to me, I'll be glad to share. So stake out those theatres, y'all... for the aftershows appear to be actual "shows"... ie: film.  |
