Do The 1st 5 Rows Really Stink?

So I hear the stage is 6 feet high and you cant see that well. Is this true or not? Anyone have any info. I have section 88 at MSG and floor row B at Nassau. Im wondering which to go to.

It depends where on the floor you are seated. If you sit directly behind the keyboard or drums, your view of Prince will be obstructed.

This is how it went for LA. This will look funny but bear with me smile

aXXb
XXXX
XXXX
cXXd

X = Stage
a = keyboard
b = fireman's pole
c = drum kit
d = keyboard (renato's)

I was in the third row from the stage. Of my two seats, one had a direct view of Prince at all times. But the second seat was slightly behind Renato's keyboards.

Prince came to our side (c,d) a LOT. When he went to (a,b) I could not see him. Nevertheless, the seats were absolutely perfect.

If you want to see Prince ALL THE TIME, sit in the higher sections.

Along each side of the stage, there is a "fence" of sorts. So imaginen octagon around the stage.

Hope this helps.

I am going to MSG. I dont think I got floor tickets.

my daughter gave a little yelp when she saw our tickets... front row!!! eek Those of you there, we were in section 8...

Were they bad? Not in my opinion. She was very disappointed at first when she saw the 6 foot high stage. "I can't see anything!!" I assured her that Prince would be making his way near us often, along the mini-catwalk next to us. Our view was greatly blocked whenever Prince went to the other sides because of Chance's keyboard setup. We never got a good view of Rhonda on bass or of the guitar player either. I could barely see John B.'s drums unless I bendt down and looked through Chance's keyboards (which I'm glad were transparent).

But, to make things much much better, a camera guy was right in front of us!! Which of course meant that Prince made his way over our way (using bambi99 chart, the A side) very often, dancing, singing and generally hamming it up for the camera. cool .

I would advise anyone taking along some little kids who MIGHT be sitting in the NPGMC (floor) section to take a pair of earplugs for them. We were right next the speakers and my girl was greatly worried that she was going to lose her hearing. "Don't worry, mija. The ringing will stop." wink
