Set Differences

OK - It seems like a lot of the show is gonna be the same basic set, he's doing the hits etc. I'm interested in how the shows are different from each other (especially since I'm seeing him three nights in a row in June so I hope there are some differences night to night!)

So far I notice a couple of differences in the reports of the first few shows:

Musicology songs - In Reno it was reported that (besides Musicology which I'm sure will open each show) He performed Illusion, Coma.... and If I was the Man in Your Life. In LA it was Life of the Party and On the Couch. What did Bakersfield get?

Also the acoustic set has room for improvisation. Just read that Darling Nikki was performed last night!!

If anyone has differences from the main set that happened at a show post em her for our entertainment!!

I remember Prince asking on the Tavis Smiley show where it is written that you have to perform the same songs night after night. So it seems he likes to switch it up a bit. I don't blame him. Looks like it would be boring to him otherwise. The Band probably is prepared to play a hundred or more songs of his. Makes things fun for them and the fans. I personally would like to hear Rasberry Beret on last time. Maybe he has that on deck for later. Pretty cool now matter which way you look at it. Peace!

sonicfreak,

i'm pretty interested in seeing how he changes the song list as he's going along. I was at Staples on Monday night and have a ticket for Anaheim in May.

I was thrilled and surprised to hear him play DMSR and Controversy... and he actually grinded (a little) during The Beautiful Ones! Shook his ass in some other spots... he was having the time of his life up there!

Cool. Well can you answer one of my questions above? What Musicology songs were performed (besides Musicology of course)
