SHOULD WE WORRY ABOUT NOT HAVING GOOD SEATS?

I was wondering if anyone who's been to the concert(s) had really bad seats? One person from the NPGMC forum was saying he was right behind the drums and that he saw Prince's back side most of the night... that would suck. For those who were seated behind the stage rather than front or sides, how was the view?

I have floor seats, but the tour hasn't reached my city yet. I am worried because when I bought club tickets to a Chicago Show for One Nite Alone, I did not get good seats...

I read on a thread that front row seats aren't all that great because the stage is 6 1/2 feet tall so you only see about half of Prince when he is in the middle of the stage and you can't really see him at all when he is on the other end. But that said I'm sure they will be fine and everyone else will be jealous of our seats.

I heard the same and it looked like that might be the case for those people in front at last night's LA show. I woud think that the best seats would be on the floor but maybe 3 - 5 rows back to give a better angle for seeing the entire stage. If it is that high and you are too close to it, you would have to be well over 6 ft tall to think about seeing Prince move around the entire stage.

My worries are a little different than yours. I saw Prince Live for the first time during the ONA tour in Ottawa, Canada and had front row, centre seats, right in front of his guitar... thus, it was amazing. I have been spoiled and pray that I have good seats when I go see him in Boston on August 18. I don't care if I'm not front row, but I hate the thought of being behind him the whole time and missing out on things.

I guess there is no point in worrying since there's nothing we can do about it. I'll just have to wait and see. Its gonna be a long wait though!

when i first picked up my tickets yesterday for the la show, i was a little disappointed. my seats were NOT on the floor. they were on the first level, about 14 rows up. as a club member, and having purchased my ticket during the pre-sale, i was kinda salty. but, once inside, i was so relieved! the seats were great. i didn't have to look at the moniter and i had a great view of prince regardless of where he was on stage. if i was on the floor, i would have been unable to see him during certain parts. i wouldn't worry about it. it seems like they thought of everything when it came to member tickets. remember those tickets being sold on ebay...the ones everyone was bitching about because they were 3rd row seats on the floor? well, those seats were right in front of a big npg moniker on the stage so it made it muchmore difficult to see the stage. if i was a member i would have been salty about those seats. i have no complaints about this show nor any worries for future shows!

There was not supposed to be a back or side stage, the other members of the band were all in a circle facing the center of the stage but Prince did spend more time facing one side more than the opposite side. The side he didn't face as much was the side Eddie Murphy and No Doubt were on. The stage didn't rotate like I thought it would, the best distributed view of Prince was during his acoustic set because he swivelled his chair throughout.
