Okay, had I taken 2 many trips 2 the bar, or at one point last night during the Staples center show did Prince lead his band in the "Wooden Leg" dance, and actually call out "Wooden Leg"!? You remember, the dance Prince did to mock Morris Day's "Oak Tree" dance, as seen in the Romance 1600 LIVE concert film?

It was the most surreal concert moment since Sheila E.'s Drag-King Morris Day impression at Family Jamm!

I don't quite remember which song he did it in, anybody else catch this??

YES!!! It was like an inside joke, lol. I can't remember what song it happened on. Life of the Party maybe?

He's been doing the "wooden leg" dance recently within the past few years ("Come On" performance on Leno in '98, Celly 2001, etc..), so it's not like he just came back with it since '86.

when he did it i was like oh shit they are doing the wooden leg.

I may be completely wrong, as the show is just one delicious blur to me now...but didn't he do the wooden leg thing during Soul Man while Chance Howard was on vocals??? ...

I thought that was a trip when he shouted out "wooden leg" and he & the horn players started doing it. I started dancing it too, until my daughter looked at me and said "is your knee hurting again?" too cute!
