Seating in the ROUND How the seating in the round? I never seen a Prince concert in this format. Ontheone

I personally liked the center stage but I thought he faced one side more than the others. I was lucky to be sitting on the side he was facing. I thought the stage would rotate but it didn't. It worked best when he was doing his acoustic thing because he swivelled his chair throughout the entire set.

Me too - I kept noticing how well he spread his performance across the stage as I watched the show

I thought that too but he seemed to get around a lot which is cool...

From my perspective at the Staples show, I didn't think there are too many bad seats, but people on the floor itself may be at a disadvantage. Because you could be on a corner, stuck behind the drum set, or Renato's keyboards. Or, you simply can't crane enough to see what Prince is doing on the other side of the stage. Plus, the angle is such that you can't really watch the video screens (they're hanging right above you). So, it's a plus when Prince is on your side, but on the other side, it's a liability. I was in the 200s section, which was a great angle, but seemed rather far away. But I have tickets to the May 28th show, and I'm in the 10th row of the 100s - just enough of an angle to avoid having the problems for those on the floor. Can't wait!
