Musicology Tour Opens to a Packed House in Los Angeles!

Just got back from the Staples Center, and the man is in top form!!!

Typically, he took the stage about 40 minutes late...but from then on it was 2 hours and 15 minutes of solid sound! Sorry I didn't write down a set list, but here are a few of the ones I was surprised to hear:

DMSR
Controversy
Let's Work
Forever
It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night
I Feel for You

I'm sure there were others (plus the typical hits of course) but I can't recall them all at the moment. Oh, and yes- When we got there at 5:30 folks were already lined up to get their free Musicology CDs! My husband and I popped it in on the drive home, and I think it's better than anything he's done since Emancipation or New Power Soul. Life O' the Party and Call My Name are the best tracks in my opinion, but the other 10 aren't half bad either. If you don't already have tickets to the show in your town, GET THEM NOW. You won't be disappointed!

Peace!
