I went to see Prince at the Lawlor Events Center and he and his band were fantastic. I was glad to see I believe it was Maceo Parker, being a James Brown fan I always enjoyed his showmanship with the sax. I am old school R&B and will be until I am no more. I have been wanting to see Mr. Prince for 20yrs. and it finally happened here in Reno. I am so proud of Reno for getting an entertainer of his caliber to perform in this city. Who ever was responsible for Prince's appearance I thank them and hope they can bring some more good concerts to Reno. If he appears anywhere in the region I will be attending his shows. He is the ultimate performer. The only complaint I have is the acoustics at the Lawlor Events Center, someone or a corporation need to donate an adequate sound system so we can enjoy the show even more. I also want to thank Mr. Nelson(Prince) for the "Musicology CD" that he gave us, every concert I've been to they want you to buy their recordings. It shows how he appreciate his followers and fans and he is giving something back and I for one appreciate it because he did not have to do it. To those that criticize the man do have a heart.
