To compare Madonna to Britney Spears is ridiculous.Madonna proved a long time ago that she is serious artist who can make profound,interesting music.Madonna is so much more than just sex....she is "Live To Tell"....she is "Like A Prayer".....she is "Oh Father".....she is "Ray Of Light".....she is "Papa Don't Preach"....she is "Drowned World/Substitute For Love".Those are just a few of her more introspective and highly creative songs,and it's the type of stuff that Britney would never do.
And yes,Madonna IS a musician.In the early 80s,she played drums in a band called The Breakfast Club,she can play keyboards,and more recently,she has been playing guitar.And she writes lyrics and composes melodies. | |

The most amazing accomplishment is that despite her liabilities, she is world famous it really is a testament to her as they would say "Blonde ambition" I have sat with my girlfriend and watched that HBO special with a objective eye and if she could sing despite whether I like her or not I would say so..... I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this topic.I think Madonna can sing and I also think she's a great dancer.But at least your girlfriend knows what's up...lol | |

Hey,I never said she was as talented as Prince or Miles Davis when it comes to musicianship And I never said she was Aretha or Patti LaBelle when it comes to singing.
I just said that she can play keyboards,a little guitar and she writes most of her lyrics and composes melodies.I consider writing and singing songs to be part of the artistic process.Her talents may not be as impressive as others,but she gives her all and I'm impressed. | |
