NPGMC seat assignment mystery If I am not mistaken, Bowie fans can get concert tickets through his site and know something about where the seat is. Or at least I have talked with a Bowie fan club member who had a ticket from the fan club and knew exactly where it was. If so, why cant NPGMC do this? Perhaps this downtime for moving to new servers (which have failed anxious devoted fans for two presales in a row now) will enable them to do better than simply telling you that youve be relegated to side seats and letting you take your chances with where you end up. I almost wish they didnt tell you if your were on the floor or side seats. At least there would be some hope for a decent seat until show time. I know I have to wait 4 months for seats that will be a mile from the stage. I love NPGMC but I am not buying that crap about all of their seats being good.
In fact, I can remember going to the Hit n Run tour in San Diego and having a NPGMC ticket that I picked up from the box office and it had the seat assignment. I didnt have to camp out in line and there was a section on the floor in front of the stage that was roped off and reserved by security for NPGMC members only. If worked so smoothly. And it was a large venue - Cox Arena. Why couldnt they do it that way this time? It is a new system for every tour.

Yeah. I got a side seat too. I checked out the seating chart and it still looks pretty cool. I mean, I guess the side means watching prince from the side but still up front which is cool.

I'm gonna see what happens when I get my tix from will call before I say if I like their way of doing things or not. I can see me complaining about it now, then getting perfect first row tickets and changing my song abruptly.

I can dig it and it is possible if your got floor seats up close. Floor seats further than about 10 rows are going to suck unless youre 7 feet tall and have some kick ass binoculars. I figure that side seats are going to be even worse!
