Well, the whole NYC thing sucked. Ticketmaster.com was jammed for like 45 minutes. No tix were ever avaialable to MSG.

Around 1:30 I realized there as a 2nd show added.

Both shows had the Amex Gold Card Events option where you enter the special code, but I was NEVER able to get seats using it. Even for the 2nd date!!!

Eventually I was able to get pretty bad seats using hte regular option for MSG but how could the Gold Card tix be gone already? THey wren't available (or advertised) earlier.... so where did they go? They are supposed to be set aside. If there were none to begin with, why did Ticketmaster have that option???

I ended up with bad tix at Meadowlands, but I'm still annoyed by the whole thing.

Why didn't you just pay the extra $25 and buy member tickets through the club?

I have tickets through the club, but I wanted to see what would happen. I logged into Ticketmaster about 11:55 and kept hitting refresh. When the tickets became available, I put in for 2 through the regular part and it came up with two (after about two minutes of searching) in section 208 row a (not bad actually), the second tier front row. I turned them down and searched again. This time it took about 8 minutes and came back as none available.

I tried the AMEX Gold thing for the second show to no avail. Thank God for the club!!!!
