Hey guys its official now Prince will be rockin Chi Town!! Looks like he will be at the Allstate Arena. Im surprised by this as he played the United Center last time he did a concert in the round but nonetheless I am bursting with excitement. I cant wait for the tickets to be on sale. Hope to meet some of you crazy cats at the show gettin down in the "good seats" as Prince calls em for all us NPG members

where did you hear this? I've been waiting and waiting to see when he was coming to chicago. I wish it were sooner than June.....

Lovesexy was at the Allstate too (formerly Rosemont Horizon). I am kinda bummed because the sound at Allstate sucks (at least it did back in 88). Wish it was at UC. Oh well.

I was @ the Allstate in 02' to see Guns N Roses and the sound was great. Now think of it as GNR is a hard rock group versus Prince so I imagine the sound will be a lot clearer and we all know how Prince will spare no expense to make sure that his sound is crisp and bumpin. I'm there! I have my tickets for the Indy show now I want tickets for the Chi town show. I'm worried about the presale tickets. I know they will announce it but the tickets for the public will go on sale Monday! I dont want to miss out. Anyone have any insite?

I was at Allstate Arena in 2001? for the Sade Lovers Rock Tour in the second balcony and the sound was superb. India Arie opened for Sade and she played several songs on her acoustic guitar which you could hear every note. When Allstate put money into the former Rosemont Horizon, they fixed the sound system.

I'll be purchasing my tickets for Chicago this Saturday at noon (emails went out). I heard a radio ad this morning on V103 (Tom Joyner) regarding Prince's Musicology Tour and tickets go on sale to the public Monday, March 22 at noon.

The only other U.S. city I plan to see Prince, besides Champaign, IL is Milwaukee since it's so close to Chi-town. But, look out Europe, here I come for the Fall Section of the Musicology Tour.

All I know is that Im planning on gettting tix as soon as they come available on Sat then on the day of the show getting there at 5 when parking is allowed and wait until the will call opens up an hour before the show and drool at my ticket Im probably gunna go myself but screw it Ill party with all you crazy Prince fans. Its all family lol

Dang, I'm gonna be so Princed-out by the end of this summer.

I would say expect to pay if your an NPG member between $65-80

OK, just ordered my 2 tix for Chicago. I've never been there and I plan to fly up for a long weekend with a friend. What's to do there? Suggestions welcome!

Check out everything in the city you can. Chicago rocks. If your under 21 check out all the musems and "sight see" I got my tix as well for the show its gunna rock!
