Just got back from Club Black with a girlfriend...you know, it's always good to take someone to see Prince who has never seen him before. Let's just say the set and the band were tight. He pulled out some good ones...I can't even remember most of the songs...my ears are still ringing. Some of the more memorable moments were "DMSR", "Controversy", a blistering "SHHH", "I Feel for U", "A Question of U", "Sign o the Times", "Kiss", "The One", man, so much...and as usual, NPGMC members got up close. The only things ruining the show were a) the late start...he started over an hour late. hey P..some of us had to be at work. I just went str8 to work after the show myself....and b) all of the drunk people trying to crowd to the stage, and all of the drunks moving back and forth from the stage area to wherever. The floor area was SRO, so there wasn't a lot of room to manuever. P also noted a few guests in the house...Musiq Soulchild, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Anita Baker, and Lenny Kravitz, although no one came on stage to jam with him.
