I just noticed on the Ticketmaster Web-Site, that the May 5, 2004 date of Prince in St. Louis, Missouri has been removed. It was on there all last week, but it is now gone.
Anybody heard anything about a cancellation?????

I haven't seen what you are talking about, but I bought presale tickets through the club.....hopefully this is just a mistake...

I have member tickets as well. So do two of my friends. That makes six of us going (Hopefully). Better not be cancelled.

It is not listed on the Savvis Center Schedule either, but I don't know that it ever was....I thought it kind of strange that it originally had tickets going on sale 3/20 which was 2 full weeks beyond the presale.....

I have a friend that works promotions/sales for the Fox and she said that basically the promotors/venue for the Fox didn't want to do some of the things that P wanted them to in order to bring One Nite Alone to the Fox....they had the date set, but the negotiations fell through...considering that he has played the Savvis two times in the last 5-6 years, hopefully this is not the case. I have tickets to the Champaign IL show too, so I am not so worried, but it would suck not to get to see him twice..

I called the Savvis Center when I noticed the St. Louis concert was no longer on ticketmasters. They said that who ever is promoted is concert never signed a contract with Savvis; they said it was wrong for them to put Savvis as a venue when nothing was ever confirmed. The same person told me that every Wednesday they have a meeting about new shows and shows that are questionable and to call back in the evening to see if the show is on. Here's the number to Savvis if anybody wants to call the number is 314-622-2500 press 0 and it will take you a person. As of today (3-15-04) no Prince concert is on the Savvis Centers books.

Thanks...good info.....I don't really care enough to call at this point. I have tix and a hotel room booked for Champaign...If I don't get to see him in St. Louis then I get my money back from NPGMC....I am going to see the LA concert at St. Louis Mills theatre too so....oh well. It would not surprise me at all. St. Louis is pretty backwards that way. They can sell out Savvis for the damn Dixie Chicks and Cher, but not for a musical genius like P....go figure....

Since I was the one to start this thread, I thought I would let everyone know (who cares) that the St. Louis Show is still on. I received this e-mail from the Assistant to the President of the Savvis Center. GREAT NEWS!!!!!
