Frankly, this would make a lot more sense than actually giving the complete album away, if he has any hope of convincing a major label to do a distribution and promotion deal. If the majority of his hardcore audience, along with the people who go to see his shows without really following his career, already have a copy of the entire CD, what market is going to be left?
