No Aftershows for Musicology Tour?

Posted on NPGMC:

Most dates probably won't have afterparties this tour, as the schedule is packed with back2back tourdates. Crew needs time 2 get from one town 2 the next.

Dang. sad

Fine, let 'em rest, I'll even spring for the cucumber slices to put on their eyes as they get their damn beauty rest. Doesn't mean I still can't pout about it. sad

i think there are certain cities that will get aftershows...ny, chicago, la, dc...the cities with really big fan bases will get them. it's extra cash in his pocket.

I get the feeling that this is going to be a really "big" tour - big stageshow, lots of equipment, tons of technical logistics still to be worked out....and he even said on Leno that he was putting couches and easy chairs in the audience lol .....meanwhile, I've noticed that, other than LA, he's starting this tour off in relatively small markets - none of the real "bigshot" major cities have even been announced yet. Maybe he's using this leg of the tour to get the drill down, so that when he does play the NYCs and the Chicagos and whatnot, it'll be smooth enough going that aftershows can actually happen.

Hey, a boy can dream, can't he? neutral
