San Antonio would also be nice -- the SBC Center is the perfect venue for this type of concert (it's where the Spurs play and is less than 2 years old). And he hasn't been to SA since the Jam of the Year tour (at the Alamodome...blah). Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. SA or Austin would be as close to Laredo as Prince would ever come. Houston is on the list, but not yet scheduled. If he does the Essence Music Fest in NOLA in early July, Houston might be scheduled around then. Austin would be better to do during the academic year. Face it. He ain't never coming to Laredo. SA could be a possibility, but would my hometown be able to put enough butts in the seats to make it worth the try? That's the real question. | |
